As hard as the past couple of weeks have been for our South Florida community I’ve got to say...it makes my heart SMILE to see so many people with massive platforms not only applauding our young people but more important Supporting them and the March for Our Lives Campaign!!!
Take a look at all these celebs who are joining us as we stand in solidarity with our MSD family...
Oprah decided to follow in George and Amal Clooney's footsteps when she pledged to match their $500K donation to "March for Our Lives".
George and Amal, I couldn’t agree with you more. I am joining forces with you and will match your $500,000 donation to ‘March For Our Lives.’ These inspiring young people remind me of the Freedom Riders of the 60s who also said we’ve had ENOUGH and our voices will be heard.

Ellen Degeneres not only had these MSD students on her show last week but she also donated $50K to their #MarchForOurLives and #NeverAgain Movements...
These students are making change happen right now. Be a part of it. https://t.co/aKXsO4vgBl @Emma4Change @cameron_kasky @jaclyncorin #MarchForOurLives pic.twitter.com/vQZnYlPan5

DWade having just returned to the Miami Heat is reminding us why we call it #WadeCounty andwhy we welcomed him back with open arms after tweeting about MSD Senior Joaquin Oliver who was killed during the shooting on Feb. 14, 2018. Wade dedicated his return to the Heat and the rest the season Joaquin and reminded us that it's so much "Bigger Than Basketball", which is why he will never just "Shut Up and Dribble"!
This is Joaquin Oliver. He was one of the 17 young lives that were lost tragically at Douglas HighSchool in Parkland. Joaquin was one of many that i heard was excited about my return to Miami and yesterday was buried in my jersey. This is why we will not just SHUT up and dribble! pic.twitter.com/X0tfTTao33

It’s way BIGGER than basketball. We are the voices for the people that don’t get to be heard. Joaquin Oliver may you Rest In Peace and i dedicate my return and the rest of this Miami Heat season to you. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

After two weeksd of Olympic Coverage Jimmy Fallon finally returned to regular programming and the very first thing he did was address the Stoneman Douglas Tragedy...the second thing he did was praise the MSD students fighting for change...and the third thing he did...well take a look
Jimmy praises Parkland students, will march alongside them in D.C. pic.twitter.com/ppyNyl2wyK

Now, if you are a harmonizer or just a supporter of our hometeam #HitsChick Lauren Jaruegui, then you know she's not one to shy away from taking a stand on issues she's passionate about which is exactly why it will come as no surprise to hear that she went H.A.M. on Marco Rubio on twitter...
How do you sleep at night knowing how much of a hypocrite you are? You do know God’s “commands” right? To honor human life is a huge one. To not bare false witness is another. Remember this God you claim is all seeing and all knowing. They’ve been with you every second at every https://t.co/4yqN4LyXb4

Secret engagement and phone calls you’ve had towards the demise of democracy in MY home state of Florida. You and your arrogant ignorance insult the very God who’s name you hollow in vain. (Which breaks another one of those commands btw) the Jesus I️ read about would’ve walked https://t.co/4yqN4LyXb4

Into your office and told you himself how appalling it was to watch you stand idly by while the murder of children and innocent citizens continued so you could be a wealthier pig. And I️ know this because the spirit speaks through me regularly. Go read again if u wanna quote https://t.co/4yqN4LyXb4

Thank you good sir for your advice, now instead of quoting bible verses on twitter, go do what is sensible and be an honorable senator. Glad I️ got you to pay attention. https://t.co/VU81w5MoND
