In the aftermath of the Pulse shooting rampage, we stood together as a city, a nation and more than 120 countries to deliver the message that we are stronger than hate. Through Equality Florida’s #ForThe49 initiative, we will ensure that the lasting memorial to this tragedy is real and meaningful change. We can rid our culture of the toxic dehumanization of LGBTQ people and instead, build a country that welcomes, protects, and embraces diversity.
