Update Aug 14th @ 1:50P
Lochte confirmed to NBC News that he was held at gunpoint.
"We got pulled over, in the taxi, and these guys came out with a badge, a police badge, no lights, no nothing just a police badge and they pulled us over. They pulled out their guns, they told the other swimmers to get down on the ground — they got down on the ground. I refused, I was like we didn't do anything wrong, so — I'm not getting down on the ground," said Lochte. "And then the guy pulled out his gun, he cocked it, put it to my forehead and he said, "Get down," and I put my hands up, I was like 'whatever.' He took our money, he took my wallet — he left my cell phone, he left my credentials."
Update Aug 14th @ 1:15P
Ryan Lochte and several other swimmers were held up by robbers impersonating police officers. All the swimmers are unharmed.
“According to four members of the U.S. Olympic Swimming Team, they left France House early Sunday morning in a taxi headed for the Olympic Village,” Patrick Sandusky, USOC spokesperson, said in a statement. “Their taxi was stopped by individuals posing as armed police officers who demanded the athletes’ money and other personal belongings. All four athletes are safe and cooperating with authorities.”
Update Aug 14th @ 12:55P
Ryan HAS confirmed he was held up by gunpoint Saturday night in Rio.
Lochte said his car was "sideswiped in the ordeal, and he was held up by men who had badges. The gold medalist could not confirm if they were law enforcement."
Yikes this is scary!
According to GossipCop,
"Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte was robbed in Rio at gunpoint early Sunday, according to his mother Ileana, but the swimmer’s coach and a spokesman for the International Olympic Committee are denying her claim. Lochte himself has not commented.
Ileana told USA Today that her son was held up with other Team USA members and “they’re all shaken up.” “There were a few of them,” said the swimmer’s mom, who added the group of thieves, who allegedly has guns and knives, “just took their wallets.” Ileana noted that she was going to see her son later on Sunday.
But Lochte’s coach David Marsh said the Olympian “was not held up.” Additionally, a spokesman for the International Olympic Committee stated that any account of Lochete being robbed at gunpoint is 'absolutely not true.'"
We will keep you updated whether or not this really happened.

We finally might realize what COULD have been the real reason Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris broke up... And it is apparently over his latest single "This Is What You Came For, which features Rihanna.
Did Rihanna get in the way? No. According to TMZ:
"During their relationship, Taylor wrote the song, sat down at a piano and did a demo into her iPhone. She sent it to Calvin, who loved it. They both went into a studio and did a full demo with Taylor on vocals and Calvin doing the beat. They both knew the song would be a hit, but Taylor wrote it for Calvin and both agreed it was a bad idea to let the world know they collaborated as a couple ... it would overshadow the song. So Taylor, who kept the publishing rights, used the pseudonym, Nils Sjoberg on the credits."
He released the song and it became and instant smash. Remember... They said they wouldn't collab together. She felt hurt.
"It was a quick downward spiral from that point. One source called it "the breaking point in the relationship." The Met Gala was several days later, when Taylor danced with Tom Hiddleston."
While Taylor Swift has been seen all over the world doing her thing with new boo Tom Hiddleston, Tay Tay's ex Calvin Harris has been busy up in the studio... and he's about to release the final product. Taylor you might want to watch out!
According to reports, Calvin is dropping a track featuring singer John Newman this week which is all about her supposed cheating ways. The song is apparently sung in the point of view of Tom.
One of the lines in the song notably utilises a play on words with Tom's Avengers character Loki, going: 'Low key, you won't tell none of your friends about me.'
Another line in the forthcoming song appears to reveal his feelings about how the end of their relationship went down: 'I see online that you begun to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend. Being attentive, continue to pretend...'
The track continues, still clearly from Tom's point of view: 'You've hidden my name in your phone so you can call me to tell me you've been going through hell.
'Left him alone and you booked in a hotel.'
BURN! What do you think? Will this be a major hit? Or will shots be fired quickly back by Taylor? #BadBlood
