You could be this year’s $1,500 High School Hero Scholarship recipient!
EdFed, the credit union for the educational community, is celebrating high school students who are making a difference through volunteerism and community service. From September through May, one student will be selected each month to receive a $1,500 scholarship, with a special check presentation and celebration at their school. Nine scholarships will be awarded throughout the school year.
To be eligible, students must have completed at least 25 hours of community service during the previous 12 months. Winners will be announced live on HITS 97.3 FM and celebrated at their school with a special event hosted by Jade Alexander and EdFed’s beloved mascot, Eddy the Owl.
