Chris Hemsworth's reign as Thor could be coming to an end in 2019.
Earlier this week the actor said, "Two days I ago, I was in Atlanta finishing Avengers in my Thor garb. It's really been two years of non-stop. I'm exhausted, but good."
He told USA Today,"Contractually, right now—yeah, this is it. I'm done. I won't be playing the character again." Chris called the idea of hanging up his cape "a scary thought"and said, "This really seemed like this never-ending thing. And now it's potentially finishing."
Hemsworth and his co-stars just wrapped production on “Avengers 4,” which is set for release on May 3rd, of 2019. That film is a follow-up to “Avengers: Infinity War,” which is premiering this May.
