Summer is officially over and that means it's time to figure out which song you were bumping to with the windows down all summer long...
"According to streaming service Spotify, Drake's low-key "One Dance" takes the crown for 2016's song of the summer. The ranking is based on global streaming volume of individual tracks."
With over 757 million streams between June 1 and August 31, Drake’s monster hit “One Dance” unsurprisingly takes the title after ruling the airwaves and topping charts internationally all summer long.
His boo Rihanna is the runner-up with her Calvin Harris collaboration "This Is What You Came For", but Drake was the clear winner with "One Dance" leading with over 100 million more streams.
It’s unlikely the couple will be fighting over it considering they both appear on the 25-song list 3 times (“Needed Me” #16, “Controlla” #25), with their duet “Too Good” coming in at #6.
Sia and Sean Paul's "Cheap Thrills" comes in third, followed by The Chainsmokers' "Don't Let Me Down" at #4 and Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop The Feeling" rounds up the Top 5.
It's clear that Rihanna and Drake are the top dawgs of 2016.
