The latest Internet debate is an audio clip that has people hearing two different things.
Some people very clearly hear "laurel" while other people hear "yanny." Right now according to a Twitter poll more people hear "laurel" in a 60%-40% split.
But the big question is why do some people hear "laurel" and others hear "yanny"?
Apparently it has to do with the pitch of the audio… "yanny" is in high pitch while "laurel" is in low pitch.
