Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana saves granddaughter from would be kidnapper

LOS ANGELES — Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Joe Montana saved his granddaughter from a potential kidnapper Saturday.

A 39-year-old woman came inside their house and grabbed the child from a woman’s arms, TMZ reported.

The Hall of Fame quarterback sprang into action. He and wife Jennifer wrestled the child from the woman’s arms. The woman then fled the area.

Someone from the house found a pair of Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies nearby for another call. They were able to quickly find the woman and take her into custody.

She was arrested and charged with kidnapping and burglary, according to TMZ.
