A team is always a team, on and off the field.
A woman’s lacrosse team from North Carolina was on their first road trip of the season for a match in Virginia when their charter bus got stuck in Fairfax County, Virginia, WNCN reported.
Instead of waiting for help last week the Elon University athletes put their shoulders to the metal and pushed the bus out of the mud and back on on the road.
A video of the teamwork was posted on social media by assistant coach Taylor Caskey, who captioned it “Never underestimate the power of lacrosse girls who were hungry,” WTTG reported.
The team ended up winning their match against George Mason University, 14-13, WNCN reported.
