Looks like Art Basel Miami Beach isn’t going anywhere anytime soon!
The Miami Beach City Commission has approved a new agreement keeping Art Basel at the Miami Beach Convention Center through 2031, with the possibility of extending it through 2033.
And considering how big Art Basel has become in South Florida, this is great news! What started in 2002 has turned into one of Miami’s busiest weeks of the year, with art exhibits, parties, celebrity sightings and events happening all over the city.
It’s also bringing in some serious money! In 2025, Art Basel welcomed approximately 80,000 visitors and generated an estimated $570 million in economic impact across Miami-Dade County.
As for Art Basel Miami Beach 2026, mark your calendars for December 4–6, with preview days on December 2–3.
So yes, we can expect plenty more Art Basel traffic, art and parties for years to come!
