A Capybara Cafe is Opening in Fort Lauderdale This Week!

Okay, I have officially found one of the CUTEST things opening in South Florida.

Capybara Cafe is opening September 18 in Fort Lauderdale, and yes, you can actually hang out with, feed and take pictures with real capybaras. Because apparently my South Florida bucket list needed this.

Experiences start at $49 and are done in small groups. And while we obviously want all the capybara cuddles, the animals can choose whether or not they want to interact and can step away whenever they want.

What makes this even better is that Capybara Cafe is operated by Noah’s Ark Sanctuary, so the money from bookings helps support animal rescue and care.

You’ll find it at 744 NW 5th Ave in Fort Lauderdale.

So I get adorable capybara content for my camera roll AND help animals at the same time?

Yeah… somebody come with me because I NEED to experience this.
