Eminem fans and sneakerheads, this one’s going to hurt your wallet.
The rapper is opening up his personal sneaker collection and auctioning more than 100 lots of hand-signed shoes, , with all proceeds benefiting the Marshall Mathers Foundation and its work supporting disadvantaged and at-risk youth in Detroit and surrounding communities.
The collection spans roughly two decades and includes sneakers from Nike, Jordan Brand, PUMA, Adidas and more. Every pair in the auction has been personally signed by Eminem.
And we’re not talking about a bunch of old gym shoes Slim Shady found in the back of his closet.
Some seriously rare sneakers are included, such as limited Eminem Air Jordan collaborations. The collection also features Air Jordan 3 “Slim Shady” player exclusives created for Eminem’s Super Bowl LVI halftime performance. Those alone are estimated to fetch between $25,000 and $35,000 per pair.
There are more affordable options in the collection, too, including signed PUMAs and Adidas sneakers with estimates starting under $1,000.
Bidding is already underway through Julien’s Auctions, with the Marshall Mathers Foundation Auction taking place Tuesday, August 25.
So if you’ve ever wanted to literally walk in Eminem’s shoes, this is probably as close as you’re going to get.
