Your colorful bowl of cereal is about to look a little different. Kellogg announced it will remove artificial food dyes from all of its cereals by the end of the year—one year ahead of schedule. Favorites like Froot Loops and Apple Jacks will now get their bright colors from fruit and vegetable juices instead of synthetic dyes. The company is also removing BHT, a preservative that’s still used in a handful of cereals.
