Miami and Hialeah Among Best Cities for Halloween 2026!

Halloween is almost here, and apparently the 305 knows how to celebrate! According to a new WalletHub study, Miami and Hialeah are among the best cities for Halloween in 2026!

Miami landed at No. 6 nationwide, beating out cities like Boston, San Francisco and even Orlando. Not too shabby!

WalletHub looked at the 100 largest cities in the country, comparing everything from Halloween activities and costume shops to weather, crime rates and trick-or-treating opportunities.

Miami ranked sixth in the country for Halloween fun, 31st for trick-or-treater friendliness and 32nd for Halloween weather.

Now, let’s talk about Hialeah because this is where things get interesting!

Hialeah came in at No. 19 overall, but ranked No. 1 in the entire country for the percentage of potential trick-or-treat stops! It also landed ninth for trick-or-treater friendliness.

So if you’re trying to figure out where to take the little ones trick-or-treating this Halloween, Hialeah might be worth considering!

Here’s the irony, though. Despite all those potential trick-or-treat stops, Hialeah ranked dead last when it comes to candy and chocolate stores per capita. Make that make sense!

As for the rest of the country, New York City took the top spot, followed by Los Angeles, Jersey City, Las Vegas and Chicago.

And with Americans expected to spend a whopping $13.1 billion on Halloween in 2026, between costumes, decorations and candy, clearly we’re not playing around with spooky season!
