Latrice Sampson Richards- Mental Health Professional

This week in POPTherapy we’re discussing Toxic Relationships. Whether it’s an intimate partnership, work relationship, friendship, or family member many of us have held onto or are still engaging in and with Toxic people. Latrice is helping us unpack WHY we do this and how we can identify when we’re doing and the steps to take to start breaking the cycle.

Catherine Del Toro- LMHC

Catherine is a new mom & she’s sharing some of the stressors she’s experiencing dealing with motherhood, familial responsibilities & relationships & balancing that with work & life. As a Mental Health Professional she’s also sharing tips & tools she uses & recommends to identify mood disorders as well as how to process & cope & most important...when to recharge & refill herself! We also talk about being more aware of how WE are feeling, being able to identify the signs & symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, etc & also the importance of AWARENESS, especially when it comes to hurtful behavior we may be exhibiting towards others.

Latrice Sampson Richards- Mental & Emotional Wellness Creative

#PopTherapy with Mental Health Professional Latrice Sampson Richards is BACK & this week we’re talking about our kids. How do we identify when our children are struggling & more important, how do we open up the lines of communication so that they feel comfortable expressing themselves & asking for help when they need it. Communication is a learned behavior & it’s important to teach kids from an early age how to identify, process, express, and emote their feelings. It’s also important for adults to realize that they may not have ALL the answers & that it’s ok to enlist the help of a professional therapist!

Catherine Del Toro- LMHC

Another incredible #WellnessWednesday with Catherine Del Toro!!! Today she talked about “buzz words” & the importance of therapy as a tool and resource for giving ourselves a better understanding our emotions & feelings. We also discussed anxiety & the sense of awareness & also comfort that you can get from therapy & even a clinical diagnosis. At the end of the day internalized thoughts, feelings, & emotions WILL manifest themselves on physical ways if they remain internalized. Release is a necessary part of life and critical to our emotional & mental health and finding a therapist you trust enough to share with is an instrumental part of achieving true Health & Wellness!
