Bruno Mars brought The Romantic Tour to Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium for two nights, and after experiencing night two, I can confidently say it landed in my top five concerts ever. And mind you, I’ve seen A LOT of artists live.

The Romantic Tour setlist gave Miami newer songs like “Risk It All” and “Cha Cha Cha,” alongside classics including “24K Magic,” “Treasure,” “Marry You,” “Locked Out of Heaven,” “Just the Way You Are” and “Uptown Funk.”

And Mother Nature was part of the show from the beginning. Yes, it DID rain. 😂 But Bruno never missed a beat. One of my favorite moments came after “Cha Cha Cha,” when he started banging on the bongos under the rain. The rain continued through several performances, including “Treasure,” and watching him keep the show going made the night even more memorable.

Another standout was when a vintage cherry red Cadillac rolled onto the stage. Bruno talked about taking drives, turning on the radio and discovering songs he loved growing up. He climbed onto the car and covered classics including “Oh Girl” and “Let’s Get It On.” As someone who works in radio, obviously I loved that entire part of the show.

Then came Silk Sonic. Anderson .Paak joined Bruno for songs including “Smokin Out the Window” and “Leave the Door Open,” and seeing the two of them together live was EVERYTHING.

Bruno can sing, dance, play instruments, command a stadium and somehow make a massive production still feel like you’re just watching someone who genuinely LOVES making music. That’s what stayed with me after The Romantic Tour.
