When we first read this headline, we assumed Just Ben had somehow made the news again.
A 22-year-old Florida man crashed his pickup truck Sunday morning after authorities say he was putting on deodorant while driving.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a GMC Sierra westbound on the Polk Parkway near Auburndale around 7 a.m. when he apparently decided that navigating a curve was also the perfect time to freshen up.
It was not.
The truck crashed into an anti-crash device before eventually coming to rest on top of a concrete barrier wall.
Thankfully, nobody was injured.
And because this is Florida and apparently people needed answers, FHP later clarified one very important detail: it was stick deodorant, not spray.
Troopers used the crash as a reminder to stay focused behind the wheel and save the multitasking for when you’re parked.
As for Just Ben, we can confirm he was not involved. Although we completely understand why you might’ve thought otherwise.
