Miami, our cafecito obsession has officially been validated.

WalletHub just ranked the 100 largest cities in the country for coffee lovers, and Miami came in at No. 3 in America. Even better, Florida took two of the top three spots, with Orlando claiming No. 1.

And listen, are we really surprised? In Miami, coffee is practically a personality trait. Cafecito in the morning, another after lunch, and if somebody walks into the office carrying a tray of coladas, suddenly everybody is best friends.

According to the study, Miami scored high for its number of coffee shops, including highly rated spots, plus the availability of free WiFi. Miami residents also spend nearly $151 a year on coffee on average.

Now for the plot twist: Hialeah ranked No. 93 overall, despite having the fourth highest percentage of adult coffee drinkers in the country. Basically, Hialeah is drinking the coffee… just apparently not getting enough credit for the coffee scene.

The Top 5:

  1. Orlando
  2. Portland
  3. Miami
  4. Long Beach
  5. Seattle

So yes, Miami officially has another ranking to brag about. Now excuse me while I go get a cafecito.
