This Florida School Was Named the No. 1 Party School in America

Charles Adelson paid to have FSU professor Dan Markel shot and killed in his Tallahassee driveway, jurors decided, after about three hours of deliberation. Adelson was found guilty on all counts.

Florida State University can officially add another title to the résumé, although we’re not sure this one is going on the admissions brochure.

FSU has been named the No. 1 party school in America in Niche’s newly released 2027 rankings.

Niche ranks colleges using factors including student reviews, access to bars and restaurants, Greek life and athletics. FSU beat out Tulane at No. 2 and Wisconsin at No. 3 for the top spot.

And Florida was VERY well represented.

The University of Miami came in at No. 22, followed closely by Florida A&M at No. 24. The University of Tampa landed at No. 31, while the University of Florida barely snuck onto the list at No. 47.

So if you’re keeping score in the state rivalry, FSU now has something very specific to brag about.

The top 10:

  1. Florida State
  2. Tulane
  3. Wisconsin
  4. Dayton
  5. USC
  6. Penn State
  7. Ohio State
  8. Georgia
  9. West Virginia
  10. Illinois

And for the Canes fans wondering: yes, Miami made the list.

But apparently we’ve got some partying to do if we’re going to catch Tallahassee.
