Tombstone Just Put Candy Corn on Pizza Because Apparently Halloween Has No Rules

Just when you thought candy corn couldn’t get any more controversial, Tombstone decided to put it on pizza.

For Halloween, the frozen pizza brand is releasing limited-edition candy corn pizza kits in two varieties: pepperoni and five cheese.

Yes. Candy corn. On pepperoni pizza.

The kits come with a Tombstone frozen pizza, three packets of candy corn and instructions so you can personally participate in this crime against Italy.

Tombstone argues that the pepperoni version could actually work because you’ve got the salty pepperoni mixed with the sweetness of the candy.

I’m willing to hear them out. I am not willing to apologize to pizza on their behalf.

The kits are only $1.31 and will be released online in three limited drops at 2 p.m. ET on October 2, 9 and 23 while supplies last.

And apparently Tombstone was destined for Halloween promotions. The brand got its name from the Tombstone Tap, the Wisconsin tavern where the pizza was originally created — which happened to sit across the street from a cemetery.

So candy corn pizza may be horrifying, but at least they’re staying on brand.
