How bad does a first-date outfit have to be for you to cancel the date entirely?
One guy on TikTok found out.
He says he was just 15 minutes away from picking up a woman for their first date when she asked what he was wearing. So he showed her.

The outfit included a very sparkly shirt paired with even more sparkle, and apparently that was enough for her to reconsider the evening.
He posted the story saying he probably “dodged a bullet,” but the internet overwhelmingly seemed to side with his date.
One commenter called him a “disco ball.” Another wrote, “I don’t like the shirt, but other than that I hate it.”
And possibly the most brutal response: “Sir, please ignore any of the positive comments.”
Someone else pointed out that technically she didn’t cancel the date. She gave him the option to change the outfit.
And honestly, this may be the rare internet argument where the comments section came together for a common cause.
The cause was getting this man a different shirt.
