B-KNITE

South Florida native, B-Knite has family in the business and has known music would be a part of her career her whole life! Her Caribbean and South American roots contribute to her love of dancing, creativity, and free spirit!

B-Knite has a hustler mentality, and knew she wanted to work in an environment where her personality could shine. So, she decided to major in Telecommunications at The University of Florida. (Go Gators!) As an undergraduate, she interned at local marketing agencies and was an On-Air Talent in Gainesville at two local radio stations. However, while she did spend countless hours at the campus library studying, B-Knite often could be spotted enjoying a fun night out with her girlies!

Once she graduated, B-Knite decided to her talents back to Miami! She is currently hosting overnights and weekends on The New hits 97.3! When she is not on the air, you can catch her either brunching in Miami, couponing for a good bargain, completing a DIY from Pinterest, or binge-watching every show on TLC!

CAROLINA CALIX

Born in Miami, Florida at Jackson Memorial Hospital on June 26, Carolina Calix was raised in Lil Havana, the heart of Miami and is what many call first generation. Her roots are Honduran (Central America).

Carolina Calix graduated from Miami Senior high school (the oldest and first high school in Miami Dade, founded in 1903) in 2008. She also attended Miami-Dade and graduated with a technical degree from Miami Media school in 2015.

Carolina Calix kicked off her radio career off in 2012 here in Miami. Since then she’s worked as a producer for great radio legends like Kenny Walker, Enrique Santos and more recently Elvis Duran and the morning show. While at IHeartRadio, Carolina was also an on-air talent for Y100 and TU949-- Yes, she is bilingual in Spanish and English :)

When she’s not working, you could find her listening to music, watching a lot of movies, and keeping up with pop culture. She’s a pretty big foodie and loves hitting the beach/pool with her family and friends. She’s also into keeping herself healthy by meditating or doing yoga. Facials and massages are her thing! A little cafecito is always a must to kick off her day, when she don’t have one, you’ll find her with a bottle of water always at hand. She loves the Miami nightlife. Going out with the girls is a must for her whether its clubbing in Wynwood or Miami Beach, or having a good brunch at her favorite local restaurants like Tap 42. Nothing more spells a good time for her than good food, a nice wine and a good catch up session with the ones she loves.

Family is a big thing for her, as she has a huge one. Lots of cousins, aunts and uncles from both her mom and dad’s side of the family. She has 3 younger brothers, a dog named Sobe and two cats - Lucy and Mancha.

Education, giving back to my community, and mental health are very important to her. “I believe our youth is our future and the best way to help is to empower them with knowledge and support,” Carolina says. “Positive energy is something I always try to bring to the table no matter the circumstance.”
