MEET GISENIA REYES...

Gisenia Reyes is the Co-Founder of We Care Chemo Kits, a cancer foundation, based in Miami, Florida, which delivers care packages to cancer patients and host special events at local hospitals. Gisenia was diagnosed with an aggressive type of blood cancer called Acute Myeloid Leukemia in October 2015. After successfully undergoing a stem cell transplant, wherein her twin sister, Lucy, served as her stem cell donor, she started visiting other cancer patients with her homemade chemo kits to help brighten their day. What started off as an act of kindness has quickly spurred others to join in the We Care movement. The Reyes Twins have garnered the attention of the media with their unique story of survival ship and turning tragedy into triumph. They have been featured in all the local news stations and won the Life Award for outstanding achievement and service from WPLG Channel 10 in 2018.

Gisenia enjoys writing, singing, public speaking, bringing women together for a greater cause, learning, and teaching God's Word. She aspires to become a motivational speaker, lead a global women’s ministry, and become a published New York Times bestselling author.
