If you’re heading anywhere near the airport this Saturday… give yourself some extra time.

Traffic around Miami International Airport is expected to get pretty hectic on April 4 thanks to Inter Miami’s first-ever match at their new stadium.

The team is debuting at Miami Freedom Park, where Nu Stadium is located, and they’re taking on Austin FC at 7:30 p.m.

Airport officials are warning that traffic could spike between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m., which is… basically peak everything hours. So if you’ve got a flight, picking someone up, or just trying to exist near MIA, plan ahead.

If you’re going to the game, the move is public transportation or rideshare. One of the easiest access points is through the Miami Intermodal Center right next to the airport.

Bottom line: soccer is back, vibes will be high… and traffic will be very, very real.
