If you’re heading into downtown Fort Lauderdale… just know what you’re walking into.

The Lexus Corporate Run is happening tonight at Esplanade Park, with over 4,500 people hitting the streets for what they call the city’s biggest office party.

Great for them. Not great for your commute.

Here’s the deal:

• SW 2 Street, SW 4 Avenue, and SW 5 Avenue all have closures in place
• More roads shut down between 6:15 p.m. and 10 p.m. once the race starts
• Areas near 7th Avenue and Davie Boulevard will also be impacted

Police may let some local traffic through, but expect delays either way.

Bottom line… if you don’t have to be in that area tonight, don’t go. And if you do, leave early or reroute.

Because the only thing worse than traffic… is traffic you didn’t see coming.
