Tiny Kitten Causes Big Trouble at Miami International Airport

Rabies-quarantined kittens in Lake County ready for adoption

Miami International Airport had a tiny intruder cause a surprisingly big disruption...a baby kitten.

Crews spotted the kitten wandering near Taxiway Yankee and Runway 12, with the crew of American Flight 3674 alerting air traffic control about the unexpected visitor.

And yes, they actually had to report that there was “a little baby kitten” making its way toward the DHL cargo area.

Pilots and airport crews kept tabs on the kitten as it wandered near waiting aircraft and the blast fence. Meanwhile, controllers were trying to figure out when Runway 12 could safely be used for landings again.

So for at least a few minutes, one tiny cat managed to disrupt operations at one of the busiest airports in the country.

No boarding pass. No TSA. Just walked straight onto the runway like it owned the place.

Honestly, that might be the most cat thing ever.
