If you drive through Doral, you already know traffic can be… a lot. And now there’s another construction project you’ll want to know about before heading out.

Roadwork is underway along NW 33rd Street at NW 92nd Avenue and NW 97th Avenue.

Here’s what you need to know:

• A new traffic signal is being installed at NW 92nd Avenue

• Improvements are being made to the median at NW 97th Avenue

• Expect lane closures, detours and delays

• Work is scheduled:

Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The goal is to improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety.

So basically, if this is part of your normal Doral route, give yourself a little extra time because you know how quickly traffic can turn into an arroz con mango around here.
